Here in Indiana, there’s less than a month of summer vacation left. School will be starting soon! For many kids, that means the first day of Kindergarten is only a few weeks away.
My oldest started Kindergarten last year, and he was very excited…and a little nervous, too. Would he make friends? Would he like his teacher? Would he know what to do? Would he have fun? Reading these books with him helped ease his fears. He ended up having a great first day (and first year) of school!
If you have a little one who will be making the transition to Kindergarten, or if you’re a Kindergarten teacher looking for a great “first day” read aloud, I highly recommend these books!
